Our annual Australia Day match is an entertaining day out for spectators and players alike. This year, we want to create an event for all of Blacktown to celebrate Australia Day with award winning firewoks. Come along for a celebration of both Australia Day and Republic Day of India and see what all the fuss is about
Our President's Cup match is our major fundraising event for the season. There are T20 games played for our junior and senior teams with the seniors playing under lights, plus plenty of food and entertainment for the whole family, including food and ice cream trucks. Attendees have the chance to purchase raffle tickets for some outstanding prizes as well, with the night concluding in an enormous fireworks display right in the heart of Western Sydney.
This event has been a significant and eagerly anticipated part of the Blacktown Workers Senior Cricket Club calendar for many years. It is a fantastic display of bringing different teams and cultures together for a night of great fun and entertainment for the whole family. This event has gained in stature each year, with this year priming to be our biggest year yet by a long way.
It's not just the players that enjoy the day, spectators can watch all the action from the stands at H.E Laybutt Sporting Complex, a viewing spectacle like nowhere else in the Blacktown district. There will be great music belting out around the ground all day long, and a massive fireworks display to end the night that you won't want to miss
With a BBQ and food trucks on site, including an ice-cream truck plus the biggest raffle in the Blacktown Workers Senior Cricket Club's history set to be drawn, this promises to be a day to remember for all players, spectators and sponsors.

What to Bring?
Obviously, make sure to bring your friends and family so they don't miss out on this fun and exciting Australia Day event in Blacktown. Feel free to bring any snacks you'd like, but a range of food, coffee, drinks, and ice cream will all be available for purchase on the day. Please note this is an alcohol free event and therefore any alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Where to Park?
This Australia Day event is located at H.E Laybutt Sporting Complex, just on Walers Road in Blacktown. There is limited parking along Walters Road, although there is plenty of designated parking at the Blacktown Workers Sports Club, just a short walk through a scenic bushland, across our state-of-the-art accessible pedestrian bridge.
